The following cleaning regime will ensure your Chillax Ice Bath remains in tip-top condition.
Cleaning your filter
To keep your Ice Bath in perfect condition it's essential that you keep your filters clean. It's a straightforward process using a filter cleaning solution such as our instant hot tub filter cleaner spray. This is a fantastic and very quick way to clean your Ice Bath filter, as all you need to do is spray the filter all over and leave for 30 minutes. After this time, simply remove by rinsing with a pressure washer or hose. Leave your filter to dry before placing them back in your Ice Bath.
We recommend owning two filters which you can alternate every month for optimum efficiency and to prolong filter life.
Filters should be replaced every 6 months.
Cleaning your Ice Bath shell
When keeping your Ice Bath acrylic clean, it's important to use the correct product. Using an incorrect type of cleaning agent could lead to damage of your Ice Bath shell. Use the following cleaner designed specifically for acrylic and formulated with a fresh orange scent to remove scum from the Ice Bath. It is also great for cleaning your leather insulated cover, used with the Cover Protector this will truly give a great result.
Looking after your Ice bath cover
Although it can be an afterthought, your Ice Bath cover is actually one of the most important parts. Not only does it keep garden debris such as leaves, grass and insects out of the water allowing your Ice Bath to run at it's best, it also maintains the temperature and keeps running costs down.
To look after your Ice Bath cover we recommend using a cover protector to help soften the leather so it doesn't dry out. In addition to that it benefits from a UV protector, which stops sun fading the leather. Treat every 12 weeks and your cover is guaranteed to last longer.
Using your Ice Bath chemicals
We recommend using the Chlorine Starter Kit which includes Chlorine, PH Plus and PH Minus. Using your chemical testing strips will determine which chemicals you will need to add and how much.
Your testing strips will indicate what your Ice Bath may be lacking and clear instructions are provided so that you can add these correctly.
We recommend that you use the Ice Bath chemicals with great care and make sure you follow the instructions.
Using your testing strips
Part of our Ice Bath chemicals kit are the testing strips. They are simply a strip that has pads for each level needing to be tested. Once submerged in the Ice Bath water, they will take a few seconds to change colour. After a minute or so, you can see the colour change has taken place and you can then compare the colour of the strips to the coloured squares on the test strip container.
If the colour changing pads are the correct colour as indicated on the container then you can continue to enjoy your Ice Bath straight away. If the colours are different, then it can be easily rectified by carefully adding chemicals into the water in small quantities and testing again until you have the balance right.

H20 Spa offer a 2 Year Parts & Labour Warranty on the Chillax Ice Bath & Cool Tub.
How much do the Ice Bath's cost to run?
As with all Ice Baths, there is a cost involved to run. However, H2O Spa
have added lots of clever features to keep running costs down. This includes a dedicated circulation pump that runs at a lower ampage than a main jet pump on
low speed. Their Ice Baths also come with a 100mm insulated top cover, insulated cabinet and insulated floor and acrylic shell.
What chemicals do you need to use?
When we deliver your hot tub, we will go through everything you need to know and give you a set up demonstration. Our chlorine
starter kit is the perfect starter accessory!
Do you need to switch the Ice Bath off after every use?
We recommend you leave your Ice Bath running at all times, unless you are planning to not use it or are away for an extended period of time. Ice Tubs can be used all year round so there’s no reason why you would need to turn it off.
Keeping your hot tub at a steady temperature means you can take a dip every day.
